I have not been coding Big RRed at all since Bjorn's contest, I have been working on something for Rendition's contest. Although whenever some of my code applied to Big RRed, I have sent it to Jeff. (Backface culling, antialiasing lines and edges, and one or two others I think)
My idea is still to do a landscape on Earth or possible elsewhere. (I mentioned a moonscape and someone else said he was trying that too.) However I don't have 3D code in place yet, I am spending most of my time learning everything I can about RRedline.
